Using the information

Confirm material policies with the property before travel. Know the Hold is not a hotel, booking agent, lender, or legal adviser, and is not responsible for a hotel’s decision, a payment-network delay, or a booking provider’s terms.

Submitting reports

Submit only information you have a lawful right to share. Reports must be truthful to the best of your knowledge and must not include card numbers, IDs, reservation codes, private guest information, threats, or unlawful content.

By submitting, you grant Know the Hold permission to store, review, paraphrase, publish, and preserve the report as policy evidence. Reports may be moderated, corrected, rejected, or retained in an audit history.

Corrections and property responses

Properties may request correction or claim a property at no charge. Verified representatives may provide official policy statements and respond to reports. Those statements remain visibly separate from Know the Hold research and guest evidence.

Affiliate independence

Some booking links may generate a commission. Affiliate relationships never purchase a better evidence label, ranking, or deposit value.
